8N Lift Main Control Spring

(quoted from post at 18:51:08 01/23/15) Do these compress with age? What should be the length uncompressed?

Thanks, Foster
have no direct answer to your question. It doesn't matter as long as you can adjust until all slack is out and not so tight as to compress it. When set accordingly, when a draft implement then pushes on the top link, it pushes the draft plunger inward and operates the control valve to lift the implement. If you never use draft implements, you can make it as tight & compressed as you want and Position control will operate just fine.
