Is there any real difference in aftermarket voltage regulators the 8N's built before and after serial numbers 263843 ? Mine is 1950 with side mount distributor but no proofmeter. Serial # 264---. Thanks

lectrically believe same, but if for earlier tractor, you get a mounting plate with it so mounting holes fit tractor.
