8n thermostat

i just tried my second thermostat neither one of them will fit inside the hose...anyone got a part # for the correct thermostat...it is a 1949 8n

Sometimes you need to lube it a bit w/ dish soap.

Michael On my 9N I had to heat the heater hose and used white lithium grease to get it in, I used a heat gun on it took a little effort but I got it in
if you use a larger hose it will be to big on the radiator neck.
