I had to disconnect my steering linkage today from the steering arms.

I didn't make a note of the alignment. How should the steering arms be aligned with wheels straight?

Thanks.

Fredharts,I Set the alignment of the front wheels to have 1/4" toe in measured at the center of front tires half way up front and rear.
I spray paint the tire center with the wheel jacked up and spin it to paint, then with a nail in the end of a short 2x4 and end of nail bent upwards.Spin the wheel and hold 2x4 on the ground and spin wheel to scribe a line all the way around the tire. Let wheels down with wheels straight ahead then then measure front side between tire centers, then back side.Back side measurement needs to be 1/4" wider than the front.Screw steering rod end in or out as needed to get 1/4" toe in.

Get out your original Owner/Operator's 8N Manual and read the chapter on steering alignment. Your I&T FO-4 Manual also has a detailed chapter too. Note the original hash
marks on axle and spindles for alignment are set at the factory but if steering box is worn may not be good markers any more.
