8N Won't Crank

OK, charged the battery and changed the starter solenoid. The darn tractor just won't turn over when I hit the starter switch. Anybody with any ideas?

• [*:1c2da0f051]Then take a set of jumper cables and jumper the ungrounded battery terminal to the stud on the starter. If the starter does not crank you have a dead battery, bad ground at the battery or starter, or a dead starter.[*:1c2da0f051]If the starter cranks jumper the small stud on the solenoid to ground. If the starter cranks you have a problem in the ground circuit from solenoid to the starter switch or a bad starter switch.[/list:1c2da0f051]TOH
