9 bolt hub keys

I bought a set of 9 bolt hubs to run on my M, and the keys on the hubs are a little bigger than the keyway on the axle. Has anybody had to file the keys on the hubs down to fit, and if so how did they do it, and what might be the easyest way to accomplish this?

I used the edge of a thin cutoff wheel. Carefully remove only whats needed testing the fit often.

I used Oliver 77 hubs on my Farmall H. I took the hubs and an axel to the machine shop and had a channel cut to fit the Farmall key.....H
