I'm gonna put a set of Oliver 88 hubs on my farmall m. Am i better to trim down the key in the hub, or open up the key way in the axle?

The 88 hubs have a cast key way which have broke (I have one)
I think someone has talked about machining a new key way in the hub, and using a new key.

Or bite the big one and get a good set of hubs from Pete @ Cap bros.

or you go this with something like this...set of weld on's I made.....if you don't plan on moving them.....

I'm currently using 88 Oliver hubs on my super m and didn't need to do any grinding or anything as far as alterations I did go back with new washers and lock washers but so far so good I pulled it as heavy as 8000 with no problems
