9020 Power Max (simplicity)

Hi:
I my power max is loading up. It was rebuilt several yrs ago. It is not useing any oil. It has a newer Carb on it and I recently had it cleaned and the jets set. But it is still loadign up (black smoke) Is it possible that I have a fuel pump issue.
19 horse twin air cooled Onan.
I need by baby back.

Probably the needle and seat in carb letting excessive gas go through nozzle (Foreign object,misadjusted or leaky float?)...... Got a 9020 powermax myself. ONE HECK OF A TRACTOR. Unfortunatley engine went south before i got it. Repowered it with a WG-750 Kubota engine (Liquid cooled) i had in corner of my shop collecting cobwebs. Got lots of power.........

Now that the carburetor is cleaned,why not finish the adjustment of the jets as you said they are adjustable. (A/C- Simplicity)have a good site that can help you. CENTAUR
