93 12v cummins injectors

Can anyone tell me why this thing is leaking? I checked the injector line and the return line and both of them are good. I can see the fuel come out around the top of the big nut looking thing (not the nut on the injector line, the one that holds the injector in). How do you tighten the injector some without messing up the alignment of your hole to your return line. Also what the heck do I use to tighten it. Will a regular deep socket 15/16" work?

Sounds like the injector itself is not assembled to prevent leaks or an o ring down in the bore is bad; my 2 cents. best Yeoman

With out looking myself I don't know IF ya have to remove that injector ya have to pull it stright out DO NOT TRY AND TWIST IT OUT OR YOU WILL BREAK OFF OR ROUND OVER THE ALIGNMENT PIN BUILT INTO THE HEAD. Ya need the injector removal tool for this . Ya may be head of the game just to run it in to a Cummins shop and let the boys that work on them have a looksee.
