930 bubbles in the radiator

I have a 1961 western style 930. I am wondering what would cause bubbles in the radiator when the tractor is running? Head gasket or could it be a cracked head? Its enough to blow coolant out the overflow.

Hopefully it is a blown head gasket from improper installation. CASE says to Re-Torque heads after the initial warm up, but most fail to do so, and most do not know how CASE says to Re-Torque. Here is how to determine which cylinder is the offender. Drain some coolant down. Remove the coolant manifold and refill to the top of the head ports. Remove the water pump belts and run the starter. The offending cyl. will blow out like Mt. Rushmore.

John, don't know that I will ever use that valuable bit of knowledge you've just shared. But now I know something I did not. I learn something new hanging around here on a regular basis. thanks gobble

i used to do that to any engine that had top rail water log or manifold. 855 cummins was a big engine ive checked a few of.
like said above ,it will spew water /anti freeze way up there
