Did the 930 gas tractors come with an electric fuel pump out of the factory or was gas gravity fed from the gas tank to the carb? My 930 has one but somebody told me I shouldn't need one. What would be the reason I have one on mine?
 
They came like that from the factory with electric fuel pumps not gravity fed. I believe its due to these tractors use a lot of fuel and the bottom of the tank compared to the carb is not really elevated that much you can re-rout the hoses around your fuel pump and you"ll find out quick the reason you have one and also who ever told you that you don"t need one doesn"t know what they"re talking about. They"ve probably never seen a gas 930 either.
