930 diesel injection pump

Does anyone know if there is a secret or a trick to keeping the rack from sticking?
Like not leaving the throttle in the kill position?
Is there an additive to prevent this?
Is there any way to free the pump rack without removing it?

the secret is to use the tractor every month or so. this junky diesel will stick it no matter where its left. could try using diesel conditioner. not sure on those bosh pumps what it takes to free it up.

I've freed a few of them. Easiest to remove the pump.
