I'm in the research phase of building a 930 into a farm stock. My plans are to build a 504 from a 2390 or 2590 and put that in place of the 377 gas. Our rules state we have to run the stock style injection pump and a turbo with a 2.3" inducer bore. RPM limit is 2750. I have talked to a few case pullers but I'm looking to collect as much info and advice as I can before I start my build. I have not purchased any parts as of yet and I would like to have my plan complete before I start buying things. I have been told there is a gentleman by the name a Carl Conn in Wisconsin that is an excellent resource, does anyone know how to reach him? Any and all advice and experience is greatly appreciated.

If it works out that you can't use a 504 block and need to convert a 930/1030 block you can call me, I have converted one to 504 for pulling and can tell you what you will need to do and the problems you will encounter. Posted my e-mail and you can call me at 320-492-9077

Heck, just buy my 1175. The rules in Farm Stock around here have gotten way out of hand, and I'm thinking about going another direction. It's a 504 with a big pump, injectors, lines, HX52 slugged to 2.3, and a few other mods. Makes 62 psi boost, will pull 7th gear on most tracks. It would be a lot cheaper than building one. Drop me an email if interested.
