930 with 1000 PTO Question

I recently picked up a 1965 Case 930 row crop tractor that has 1000 PTO. Is this a rare option? All the other 930's I've seen have the 540. Just curious. Thanks

Not rare I have seen them both ways alot were changed to 540.Scott

I believe a 7-930 came with 540 but could be ordered with 1000,
the 1030 only came 1000, but many have been converted to 540
which is fairly easy. I've seen a few 930's from out west with
1000 to run combines. Never seen a 7-830 with it. I have 2
housings for my 1030, one set up with each.
