Does anyone use what is called a beater grate curtain on these combines.It is to keep small grain from landing on front of the walkers from the concave.It sounds like a good idea.Wondering what experience anyone has had.

I installed one in my 9500, as it had an aftermarket beater grate that did not allow the current. I could go significantly faster in wheat with less loss over the back with the grate installed. I do cut close to the ground to get all the straw, so there is a significant amount of material on the walkers.

I need to clarify this... the improvements were after the factory grate AND CURTAIN were installed. the curtain made the difference; the grate change made it possible to hang the curtain.
