960 narrow front end

Will the narrow front from a 960 work on a 961

I don't think so. They changed from a 1-piece to 2-piece pedistal either at the 960/961 change, or soon before that. You COULD use it, if you got the whole pedistal to swap.

I have a working 960 that is a narrow front. I am looking at a 961 in Tulsa OK (see Post on theis web site) that is a wide front. If I can change the front between the two I will by the 961. Both tractors are complete and working. Do you thank I can chance the front ends between the two tractors?

If you have 2 complete tractors and can swap the whole pedistals from one to the other, yes, it will work.

I agree, from my experience they are all interchangeable. The narrow front, one piece pedestal from the 960 is a lot lighter! I have no experience with the single wheel.
