What is minimum thickness on flywheel to
not exceed on planing and where are the
measurements taken from. THANKS

I do not have those specs but, your shop doing that planing should be able to determine that for you. The metallic disc can make a flywheel look rough but, i have serviced dozens over the years and have never had to replace a flywheel.

Reply back with the part number on the back of the flywheel. I have the bulletin, but it goes by flywheel part number, not tractor model number.

I'd be willing to bet you took off more than you were supposed to. A metallic disc and some rough use can put some really deep grooves into flywheels. I've seen people service flywheels so thin the clutch disc hits the flywheel bolts.

I thought that the flywheel on my 9000 was bad, and when I went to get it surfaced they told me that there was no need to take it down enough to take the cracks out. I finally replaced it with a double disc clutch assembly. I still have it here.

Sorry about the delay Bern. C7NN6375-G. Thanks and I am doing several other things with this tractor and will probably have more questions later.
