i am going to look at a 966 international tractor. What specifics should I pay attention to? Any on going problems with these tractors I need to know about?
 
The TA, Hydraulic system, pto, just the usual stuff on a tractor that could be 50 years old I guess. I have a 966, and it has been a really good tractor. The IH Torque Amplifier has been a problem for some, mine never an issue. Matter of abuse Id say. Best of luck, and post us a picture
