I am working on a 1970 case tractor 970 Diesel with powershift transmission. I have only had the tractor a few years. When I first got it I had to work out some PTO issues and rebuild the hydraulics on the loader. Other than that it was running great and the transmission worked fine. I changed out the transmission with factory fluids and filters. Around a year later I started to have issues with powershift.
Where I am at now is you can start the tractor in neutral no problem. If you step on the clutch it bogs down and dies. You can start it in powershift 1 and 1st powershift gear and it will go. There is no powershift 2 or 3. You can not start it in reverse and in gear. I cleaned and checked the spools against the manual. Everything looks good and spools all move free and smooth.
Videos show what pressures the spools have during different attempts of using the clutch, starting in gear, starting in revers but not in gear.
Video named idle-clutch1.mp4 is starting engine in neutral then stepping on the clutch
Video named strtinggear-1.mp4 is starting engine with tractor in 1st gear then shutting it off
Video named strt-rvs-1.mp4 is starting tractor in revers but not in gear
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
