970 gas

[case1570]

How rare is a 1970 Case 970 gas, open station, powershift with cast iron nose. Also what do you guys think it would be worth. 50% tires, bad ring gear and dist. Appears to be repainted years ago but has straight sheet metal.

If it were close to me I would give $2000-2500.its trubles are small. would make a good Winter Tractor.

It is somewhat rare but gas tractors that age don't attract alot of atttetion. Its alot of tractor to just sit around and takes alot of gas if you use it for anything.

As I under Stand they only made 200-300 of them with GAS Engines.we have had ours 6-8 years only have used it about 140 hours sence we have owned it.think is a 1971 Model .We have 1 with 8 speed [I dont like the way it Shifts / Being J I Stupid Made the Levers Longer Than the 870 S /Like 2 inches & all so Raised the Set the Same.My 870 /8 speed shifts like a easy.I like our 930 Gas a lot Better .
