970 with mw turbo

I have an opportunity to buy a 970 turbo it has a pyrometer on it good tires and runs excellent. But the ptp has problems. He says it stoped last summer and ge says he turned the pto backwards and it works again but has a tick. That to me means it lost a tooth. He wants 2500 bucks it aint real pretty but you dont get much for 2500. How much am I gonna have into the pto to make it right. Big Sal

A PTO is not that hard to work on, if it is a white 970 with decent tires and runs good; i would say buy it.
