990 Case loader

Would a Case model 70 loader be a good match for a 990 or is it too big?
I was told a case 60 was good for it but have not found one near Omaha ne.

I have never tried to mount a "70" on a 990, I am thinking you would run into issues with the power steering cylinder hitting the loader frame

I agree with Bro, that the steering cylinder would be the issue. A newer 56L loader for a 12-1390 should also fit the 990.

Thanks for another model to search for. I see a 56l on a 995. It would not be too big? Is case model 60 the ideal loader?

995 and 990 are the same tractor aside from a few hp for all intents. 90+% of the parts are the same.

A 65 would be fine on there too.

If you can find it, a David Brown LS9 is an interesting loader if you want to reach extra high.
