Thanks........ and yes the hand pto clutch is on left side...however it says 995/6/serial number on the frame....so I would assume it is a 995.....
 
the front axle carrier frame is the same on both models hence 995/6,really nice david brown though you wouldnt see as nice a one here they are well rusted by now.
