Really just doing something alittle different. In my engine rebuild I am thinking about making some mods, not in the engine, but around it....

Well, Dell......exactly correct. Personally, I hate being under pressure, but in this case it seems like the right thing to do.If the radiator is worn.. why the heck not, right?(quoted from post at 03:53:36 03/18/15) syarman........no engine reason NOT to convert to pressurized radiator system. Only the sphincterly challenged originality inspector would insist on non-pressurized system. The non-pressurized cap is different from pressurized cap therefore you haffta change the radiator to match the pressurized cap. The original pressurized cap was 4-psi but now 7-psi. Fresh radiator hozes are recommended too. ALWAYS use anti-freeze with enny radiator system. (pressurized or NOT) You do know how to make anti-freeze don't you? Take her nighty away. (grin) ........cool Dell
earn something new everyday. Cool, Thanks.(quoted from post at 08:43:05 03/18/15) Yes many older tractor did not have water pumps. I have at least 2 like that. A 1935 JD-B and a Farmall BA which is a mutt tractor built form a Farmall B and a Farmall A. Both use a thermosphine (sp)system which uses the fact that heat goes up and cool goes down so that cause the coolant to flow in the system
