9n dashboard

newbee to discussion. 1941 9n broken base for starter button. Located and purchased for ten bucks a steering column dashboard. However it does not have the side wings that hold the alt and oil pressure guages. The person purchased from said it came off a 9n. Did earlier produced n"s have a three piece dashboard?

Mine is a 1940 and the dash appears to be all one piece.

The 9N/2N steering column and dash assembly is three pieces:

1) Combination transmission cover/column base
2) Steering column which bolts to the base
3) Steel dashboard with gauges which bolts to the column

I wouldn't think a used dash would be hard to find.

Dang - incomplete info Now finding one of them is going to be a tad tougher!! Interestingly enough my MPC doesn't seem to mention that variant.

My 41 is one piece...Cast iron. It includes the battery tray,dash and steering column ...
