I got all my parts for a spring loaded gen. tensioner. Now I don't want to create a bigger problem during install.Problem is with the head nuts.I need to remove 2 head nuts to mount the bracket for the tensioner. The nut furthest from the generator appears to be frozen. I don't want to put too much muscle on it for fear of breaking the stud.I am a little nervous about heat since there is a gas tank sitting above it.There are lots of layers of engine paint over the nut so liquid penetrants don't seem like a good option. Maybe a nut splitter if access will allow its use ? Does the stud and nut thread same direction.
