9n hood side panels

I have the hood side panels with the dimpled holes at the bottom for attaching to the front axle support. Its just the side panel with a hole in it and the axle support with a hole in it.I have a service manual that shows a Part# 8434 that is part of the attachment down there?Do I just bolt things together,or am I missing some parts?

9N side panels connect with a bracket. There is no hole. If you have doglegs with holes, you will have to fabricate a bracket to attach them

Here is the original bracket.

You have the late model axle support - just bolt the doglegs to it using the hole in the bottom of the dogleg and a 1/2 x 1" bolt. I suspect you really have a 2N not a 9N.

If you are correct, that will make his job much
easier. I have seen the 2N doglegs bolted up to a 9N
with a homade bracket. By the way, used one of your
9N kingpins recently. Fit great.

I sold David a hydraulics kit and he told me he had the later stamped steel front axle support when he placed the order.
