9n points setting

What posisition should the dist. be in when gaping the points on a front mount dist. in a 9n.

Any one of the 4 lobs that open the points. They need to be set at .015. Do you also know the easy way to do the job is to pull the 2 bolts that hold the distubutor on and set them then put if back on. It will only go on one way unless you force it and then you will most likely brake it
