I use my 9n on a brush mower. This summer the PTO lever became very difficult to engage and disengage. I was going to pull the PTO out the back and try and see what's going on. I suspect the splines are twisted on the front and won't pull through the pump. I can't get it to come out the back. Will I have to cut the shaft off and drop the pump to get the rest of the shaft out? I don't want to dance the pump trying to pull the twisted shaft through. I have the top cover off to try and see what's going on.
