9n Starter Bendix

I have a simple question I hope.

I am looking for the dimensions of the pin used to secure the starter Bendix to the starter motor shaft.

I understand it to be .250 diameter, it is the length that I am interested in?

I just went out and measured the one on my 2N. It's 1 inch long, and yes it appears to be 1/4 inch diameter.
