A Case DC at work...

These photos were taken at a grass fire in 1961 near Burlington, WI.
It’s amazing to see how many men were needed only to try to hold back the firetruck against the powerful DC.

Reminds me...Dad had a silo filling run. G JD and wagon got stuck on the pile to unload. Neighbor hooked his U Moline to the G...now both are stuck. Dad had to unhook the DC and come to the yard...hooked up and pulled them both off the silage pile. Great story for a young fella to tell at school the next day...bragging on the DC of course.
