I'm not around much, had a busy fall and covered 3000 acres with the combines and I think I baled about 8000 acres of hay all year. Here's a couple pictures I took this fall, not really "tractor pulling" but it's what supports the tractor pulling.

I've got to take some pictures around the shop one of these days and post some of the projects under way.

I know, I know, one of these days I'll buy a decent camera and learn how to take the date off the botom of the pictures as it's only several years off

Nice pictures with nice equipment....I really like the Western Star 10 wheeler....looks like a truck should look..straight up functional design...none of that "I can get 5 miles per gallon at 90 miles an hour with my droop snoot and big chrome grill" look like so much of the new stuff has.

I'll stick to my green stuff......

I put that Western Star togather for verry little. I bought the truck for $8000 and it had jut gotten a new inframe kit, cam, injectors, head and turbocharger. Suspension and brakes a year before that. I pulled the sleeper and put it on the hopper bottom for a while then decided to double framed it myself and moved things around, built the hinge, etc. I think with the pto and mounting an old box we had I ended up with only $12000 in the whole truck as it sits. It's fun to drive, 475 hp 3406E, just tickle the kitty a little.

I have a couple balers to cover that much hay, it's all custom work. Just ordered a new Deere 1770 NT CCS planter and seed tender also to keep up with the planting for ourselves and customers.

Here's a few from the shop. I was doing some layout on a set of billet alum heads for the superstock. I've got to offset the injector holes and change the angle to gain clearance by the exhaust port for the spark plugs.

Did some flowtesting, to test an exhaust port one needs a a discharge tube in order to do an accurate test. The port will flow more with the tube than without. On intakes I make a radiused entry to the port for the same reasons.
