A hydraulic couplers

Hey Guys,
I"m working on a 1951 A with the breakaway quick coupler set up with a live hydraulic pump. The couplers that are on the tractor don"t fit in the original bracket that is on the tractor so there just wobbling about. Anyone know where I might find couplers that will work in that original holder. Deere no longer sells these. Just trying to make the tractor as original as I can. Worse comes to worse I suppose I could stick some kind of Pioneer setup in it"s place.
Thanks, John

I'm thinking that you don't have the dust cover that strews onto the plug after you remove it, which will let it fit your holder...

Those old couplers were a pita to work on and use, and are very hard to find parts for. Add to that the fact that nothing else will fit them. Just fit a set of pioneers on to replace them and put the old ones on a shelf in case someone wants them when you sell the tractor.

No guys, this isn't the plugs that go in the power-trol. This is a completely different set-up that are a breakaway design. It's on the left side and is powered off the live pump that is mounted on the governor. These couplers are run from the power-trol with the original blind plugs installed in the power-trol. It was an attachment evidentually that became available for these tractors after the number series started. Now I'm wondering if these same couplers might have been used on the number tractors.

You're talking about the old AeroQuip couplers. I probably have a bracket and the pair that came with our 70D, but they were a real pain to use. We converted to Pioneer type when we got the chance. They were tough to get to join up, and then once you got those old AeroQuips together, you could hardly get them apart.

Thanks, That's exactly what I have. Ok, I'll try to get a Pioneer set-up and mount that. I didn't even think about if I ever wanted to use them I wouldn't have the implement ends. Thanks for the help.
