A question about VAC

A neighbor has a 48-49 VAC with the older styling. It has the taller rear tire option as well as the belt pulley hydraulic pump. What is odd about it is that it has a 6 blade radiator fan. I have only ever
seen 4. Is this some kind of a dealer option or a fan from a power unit? Also, the hood release lever is cast iron instead of wood. Has the case logo stamped into it.

Sounds like that is a odd combination....... Did you happen to get pictures? That hood prop would be neat to have!

The cast iron hood release lever is standand. I should have a wooden prop to hold the hood up.

I also never heard of the older styled VAC having the taller tires on it. Was that even a option on the older VAC's? I know they mismatched alot of things in those days but that's first time I have heard of that....not that I am a expert though .
