A Strange Grill Guard / Loader Frame

This 8N is sitting in a field near my brother's house. It looks to have a frame for a front loader but neither the bucket nor the hydraulic cylinders appear to be present. A grill guard is attached to, and looks to pivot, on the front of the loader frame. The lower portion of the grill guard angles forward and down into the grass. I can't tell if there's anything attached to the bottom of the grill guard or not. I can't read it, but I can see that there's a manufacturer's ID plate on the loader frame.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

That's quite obvious, in fact, he states it is an 8N.

He was asking about the loader/grille guard.

Looks similar to what's on my WB 202, it's a Davis loader.

Looks like it can fold up so you can flip the hood up.
