A vest for carrying stuff?

Does anyone know of or use a vest for carrying:
1. clam shell cell phone or small flat one
2. small 6" ruler or small tape measure
3. assorted pens & pencils
4. small notepad or nose wipe
5. small pocket knife or retractable box cutter
6. penlight & small magnifying glass
It would be slick to "saddle up" by just slipping on
a vest of stuff one wants handy. Pockets or holders
should have no spill snap flaps or something to keep stuff from falling out.

I saw something like that advertised on TV a few days ago. I thought it was going to turn in to one of those "Isn't this ridiculous" commercials, like the neck basket, but it was a real thing.

I have one like Glennster has. A good travel vest has a
couple of pockets on the inside to, as he mentioned,
deter sticky fingers.

It would do what you ask, but for me it was more trouble
than it was worth. Bib overalls and a shirt with pockets
might work as well for the small number of items you mentioned.

Would think you would find something in a sporting goods store, hunting or fishing vest?

set your internet search for Cruiser Vest.
Cruiser refers to timber cruising - estimating timber volume for standing trees. The vests I used for work were well designed and sturdy. Forestry supply companies stock cruiser or field vests.

All this time I thought you were a "Law enforcement Officer" from Iowa. Go fig.
Turns out, you're Leonard from Iowa!

Duluth Trading Company. They have a travel vest that has so many pockets you will loose track of where you put stuff. When I was traveling domestic and international, that is what I always had on.

Thank you everyone! I did not know they were called travel vests, and yes there are a lot of versions to choose from. IaLeo
