If I have to pick just one AC I pick the D17. I have a Series 1 and really find it handy and useful.

I've got a black and white picture of me standing on the front tire of my Grandpa's D17 while he's standing next to me - back in the 60s, I must have been 3 or 4. Big old smiles on our faces. One of my favorite images in the whole world. Probably a bigger reason I love those D17s than the actual quality (which is very high, might I add) of them. Just a great memory and a soft spot in my heart for the D17, although I've owned and used other ACs.

My favorite tractor is the one I am trying to restore. A WD45, with a D17 Kit. It was my Papaw's favorite. Many tractors came and went, but this one stayed. I have way too many sentimental feelings for this old machine. Many many memories riding on this tractor, or machinery being pulled by it. OSHA would have a cow if they ever saw where I rode at times..!!!!!!
