Acetone and ATF

I want to try the 50-50 acetone and transmission fluid "loose juice". I know acetone dissolves some plastics. And most oil cans have plastic somewhere--do I need to be worried about this? Thanks!

I use a metal oil can with the long neck for oiling chains.

Dish soap bottles work well.

Use a metal oil can; the plastic spray nozzles do not "hold up" too good.

Acetone reacts on some plastics so well that it's what we use at work for glue for lexan.

All I ever use anymore is diesel fuel, maybe mix in some atf if it's handy. Works fine for me. It's the cheapest thing you can get plus I have a 1000 gallon tank full of it.
