No disrespect to you sir, but I was making a funny. You can't pump your own gas in Oregon. Some weird law of theirs. No complaint on my end though. I like full serve. My home town in Iowa--Maynard

It seems that law was changed last year. I'd link to what I found but it's a news channel source. If you'd like, search out "no self serve gas stations in Oregon HB2426" to get more info on it.Mike--Can't pump your own gas?--Did not know that---

New Jersey is the only state in the United States where it's illegal to pump your own gas. The ban has been in place since 1949, when the New Jersey legislature passed the Retail Gasoline Dispensing Safety Act. The ban was originally proposed by full-service gas station owners in the late 1940s as a way to prevent competition. It seems that law was changed last year. Big Tee Do you know any Rummels around Maynard ?My home town in Iowa--Maynard
When in New Jersey needing gas I'm usually half way out of the vehicle to pump my own before they call me off. Strange having someone else pump it.New Jersey is the only state in the United States where it's illegal to pump your own gas. The ban is controversial, with some residents wanting to be able to pump their own gas, while others prefer to have an attendant do it. Gas station owners can be fined up to $250 for the first offense if a driver is caught pumping their own gas, and up to $500 for subsequent violations.
In 2023, Oregon lifted its 72-year ban on self-service gas, allowing stations to operate half of their pumps as self-serve.
Maynard is not very big-- Billy-Boone-Ray-Joyce---Are they some of you relation?Big Tee Do you know any Rummels around Maynard ?
Pumping the fuel wouldn't be bad, it's handing the money out the window to pay for it!In the service we did what we were told to do--God bless the Vet---Tee
You’re suggesting Old, made it through all that? (Even the IQ level?) Probably was your purpose to see if you could pull him out of hiding. He can’t see this anyway unless he took me off ignore.I think that is a Navy pre-qualification test for joining the submarine service. Do that plus run a 4 minute mile, 50 sit-ups, 100 push ups, 25 pull ups, have an IQ of 150 and above, and finally pass a section 8 interview with a Navy shrink, and then you qualify. Only the most exceptional people qualify for submarines and the rest of us settle for something lesser.
No I worked with Allen Rummel He is Leroys sonMaynard is not very big-- Billy-Boone-Ray-Joyce---Are they some of you relation?
I believe most people with an IQ of 150 or greater would let this particular refueling job be done by someone with a considerably lessor IQI think that is a Navy pre-qualification test for joining the submarine service. Lol. But then IQ isn't necessarily proportional to common sense. Think of the people taking selphies at the top of a waterfall, etc. And as you know, shooting/putting down a dangerous, violent dog to protect othets isn't necessarily bad except when you admit to it in writing in your book.I believe most people with an IQ of 150 or greater would let this particular refueling job be done by someone with a considerably lessor IQ
And it didn't even blow your hat off! To all vets, Thank you for your service. In the service we did what we were told to do--God bless the Vet---Tee
