Hi rustred. This R is going to be a project. It is in running condition but the engine needs to be redone. Its pretty weak. Engine was stuck when the guy I bought it from picked it up. The pony leaks oil pretty bad too so new bushing and seal will be needed at least. Its a 1952 model year.

Sorry rustred it is actually a 1951 model year.

ya i am not saying it a 49 model year,just that is the year them R's came out in 1949 with the diesel.

Very nice. I think my next project will probably be an R or maybe 820.

I have many hours driving one for heavy tillage with a 4-16s plow or 16 ft Graham Hoeme chisel cultivator. 2 gallons per hour of diesel fuel at full load. Really impressive. As someone else said, I know I could start one blindfolded.
