Add on power steering

Hi everybody I'm trying to find a control valve that goes "inline" of the steering control rod, to activate the helper cylinder . It needs 4 ports and basically when your steering pushes on it it extends the hydraulic cylinder, and vice versa . Years ago I took one from an old combine and rigged it up on my VAC Case. Don't even know what models or years these were used. Any ideas?

search char-lynn power steering , and get out the check book

I have one from a Case combine model 600,700,800 ? I put one on my son 8N Funk and worked very well. The hyd cylinder came off a Massey combine Model 82 or 92? It had the perfect amount of travel for lock to lock steering. I made a mount for one end and a clamp to the steering arm to the rf wheel. the control was mounted in the left steering rod.

I think I may have a new one of the item you are looking for. Just e-mail me. [email protected] the x's before sending and put steering in the subject line so I will know it is you. I will never use it, bought it for my 650 John Deere, but it was too big. $20.00 + postage would give me my money back for it.

That's what I need. Can you let me know the total ? And what form of payment . I do paypal if you take it . Rich Balder 33346 100th ave onamia MN 56359.

Most old forklifts have exactly what you need. An orbit valve. Like an old Allis or Yale. They're small, US threads, and laying around boneyards
