Dear Sir:
With gauges on the four ports I started up the 970 and had very good readings in all three forward P/S ranges, but when I put it in reverse C-4 was unstable and low, but after shifting it back and forth, the pressure came up and was good.
I believe Mr. Brokengun mentioned somthing about removing the one control valve and carefully cleaning it.
I am wondering if there is an "O" ring acting up, but if I move the lever back and forth, then it went into reverse and worked very well.
Due to the fact the ground is much too wet to work, I cannot take the tractor out into the field and work it to get more pressure readings.
I have to say today the readings were all above 200 psi, about 210#, but the other day, they fell to 180# while playing around with it in the yard.
