Howdy,
looking for opinion from those in the know. I was gifted a 36 gallon / two chamber / round bottom milk room sink for my milk room remodel. I have a massive dairy herd of 4 Jerseys.
The sink had about five pinholes through the SS bottom, only just annoying, not preventing it's use. Eight months ago I sealed those pinholes w two layers of common two part epoxy, top and bottom. They held up for that time very well.
The epoxy is starting to peel. Q: should I clean them up and braze them, or could I use JB weld to maybe get a longer lasting seal. I have been advised that the acid rinse I use will weaken the JB Weld because it too, is epoxy based.
Thoughts to share?
