Yes sir have 3 of their systems just moved a steady steer to a small challenger for spraying but the other two are in 8000 series Deeres.

It is difficult to keep up with the different tech companies.

Jd, CIH, and Agco have their own in house proprietary systems. Did these big three absorb any of the early tech companies, or did they create their own systems?

Is Ag Leader still its own independent company that works with new installs, and cross ties into the big 3 systems from Jd, CIH, agco?

Would be nice to get a chart on which tech company is mostly associated with which manufacturer, etc.

Since I’m stuck in the 1990s mostly, only 2 of my tractors are barely into the 2000s, I don’t know as much as I should about all this.

My curiosity caused me to ask this as I just helped a farmer friend with some electronic repair of a unit. I didn't even check what model it is, but I did see the label which said Ames, Iowa as their headquarters.

If it is a system you were able to repair in his shop that is a plus!

Far as I know it’s still in Ames. John Deere and case ih (Raven) both have their own. And since it’s all iso you can mix and match stuff some of the sidekick pumps on my Deere sprayer were raven

Ag leader is independent you purchase the install kit for whatever under the sun you want to mount it on. Very user friendly.

The downside is most jd greenstar stuff Is already in the machine ready to go nowadays. Some of the leases equipment at the coop they were talking came with rtk in their lease (not waas that’s free) they just activate it and away it goes often with just a phone call. Makes it difficult to justify using other stuff.
