AGCO PAINT

What hardener has any one used with the agco paint, I picked some up today and my dealer dose not have the hardener for it. I know it is valspar paint and I know the dangers of paint hardener, just want to know what I could use with it. This is a working tractor and sit outside 90% of the time and is not worth a $1000.00++ paint job to me just want to have some color back on it rather than rust color. If some one could tell me what I could use with it Thanks from Al

Maybe the Valspar hardener from TSC? I use it in the paint from TSC and it is Valspar manufactured. I have heard of others using it for all enamel paints regardless of brand with success.

Do you use the restoration series,or the enamal hardener 4625 stuff in green can, or the renew REN3001 hardener with the paint you use. thanks

Hardener in the green can. It will work in most enamel paints, not just the Valspar. I found that the directions call for 8oz/gallon or 2oz/quart. I have found that 3-4 oz/quart work better and the paint will actually dry overnight.
