I am curious as to whether or not the "filter media" will decay and get sucked into the engine.
The filters on my 2N and 3000 diesel have been quite neglected over the years. The one on the
2N got pretty clean after soaking in diesel fuel, the 3000 was bone dry and I am concerned that
the filter material may have deteriorated. Is this a valid concern? I found a replacement for the
3000, and most likely going to go ahead and get it.
