air carb hose

look at the hose from air cleaner to carb. When i insaed it it
was dead straight everything was tightend down after a few
hours of running why is the hose offset like the aurfilter is
sagging its not

Can't quite tell what model this is. But for example on my SH if the air cleaner pipe isn't firmly tightened to the air cleaner, then it will slide down like that.

"Way back when" something got gimped. Bracket on the cleaner, something. I'm pretty sure every tractor around here fits that way. If they don't at first give them a second to heat up and wiggle across the field.

If it makes you crazy you could "twist"the mounting bracket by loosening it and putting a washer between one side and the block. That will offset the whole thing more into line without messing up your nice paint. A shim, basically.
