Air intake hose question

I would like to find a replacement middle intake hose for my Massey180 with a perkins gas motor, I'm not having much luck finding a part number or a source for it.

According to the online parts book the middle hose part number is 515183M1. The note there says contact dealer for availability.

You sure more electrical tape and black spray paint won't fix it up? LOL

Thanks for the part number! Ya' someone sliced the hose to spray ether to try to get it to run, I glued the hose and wrapped it in tape to hold for now, but with a fresh coat of paint on the tractor I thought it would look kind of tacky.

This hose is no longer available from AGCO, does anyone have ideas of where else to look?

If you have a parts store you generally use, take the hose in hand and ask if you can compare to the hoses they stock. You may find a longer radiator hose with the bends you can work with and cut it down. Done it a number of times. A short stub of exhaust pipe between a couple pieces of hose can work as well.

Thanks, thats probably where i'll end up, but just wanted to see if there were any alternatives first.

I like to wander around my local "pull and save" with the hose in hand and look under a lot of hoods until I find something that will work. You'll never find a perfect fit at the parts store, or at least it will take you a lot of hours. Be kind to your local junk yard owner and it might be free. steve
