Air Power Grease Gun for Tractor

i got an air powered grease gun from a friend. How many pounds of air pressure should I use with that?

Don't think it matters. I have one I use on an un-regulated outlet from a 175 PSI compressor without issue, tho I don't recommend using full pressure all the time. As long as there's enough to cycle the gun you should be fine.

90 psi max, is a common manufacturer recommendation for air tools. They will run on more or less pressure; service life may vary.

I brought one from HF are a cheap one from somewhere. I had to regulate it to 90 PSI are it would blow the seals. I brought a Lincoln from NAPA its a little over 20 years old I plug to to 175 psi. I would agree regulate to 90 psi would probably save the gun from failing.

I have one compressor that only goes to 65 psi, mine works fine on that. I would imagine they are designed to put out about 5,000 psi with 90 psi of air, that's what most air tools are rated at.

My compressor cycles between 100 and 120. My inexpensive gun has worked fine on that for several years.
