Need to slow down the cylinder And fan speeds.open the concaves more as it’s very easy thrashing. And the sieves get closed up quite a bit more than wheat as an example. Then fine tune as u go. Does a pretty good job.

Yes the old conventional type. Not a rotary. This one is the last year of the 850. 1989. Yep, my restorations don’t include paint.

Agway promoted canola here in central NY about 33 years ago. I harvested about 600 bushel in 1992. They told us to close the sieves right down tight. They were right. I didn't have to lower the header much from all the way up! I think the pods were open before they got to the cylinder.

Those Massey Combines were a great machine. Looks like you are an expert at setting it as well. When my dad and I farmed together we ran two 851 Massey pull type combines. Same guys as your 850. They were good machines as well. Nice pictures and I hope you got harvest done.

its canola , u must have some canola oil in your cupboard ? or is it mazola oil . ooh i know its corn oil.
